2019 Knight Challenge Race Registration is live!

Dates: Sept 28th (5K) and Sept 29th (10K)

5K Start Time: 6:30am EST

10k Start Time: 6:00am EST

Start and End Location: Bistro Patio

Costs:

   5K: $15/participant

   10K: $15/participant

   Knight Challenge (Bonus 3rd Medal): $35

Each race has it's own medal, and there's a third bonus medal for anyone who finishes both races.

Registration, Disclaimer Acceptance, and Payment is all completed through the website. If you are registering more than one person, please add a matching quantity during check out for each participant being registered.

Who can participate?

   Residents of all ages of Embrey Mill. Dogs, strollers, walkers, joggers, and runners are all welcome.

   I prefer to avoid non-residents of Embrey Mill, but if you have friend you really want to join and run, I won't stop them from signing up and participating. I mainly want to avoid the number of people running from getting too large too fast.

How is it timed?

   Self - timed. Each participant is responsible for their owning timing with whatever app or method they prefer

When will registration close?

Official registration will close Friday, Sept 6th (I need time to get the medals ordered and delivered).

What if I miss registration or don't want to pay?

You're still more than welcome to join us for the runs, but you won't receive a medal at the end.

What if I have to cancel after registering?

I'll make sure you still get your medal and you can complete the 'courses' on your own time.

How do I follow the course?

There will be cone/discs outlining where to turn along the course.

Will there be water/medical, etc?

Officially - No. We are not partnered with any EMT service. Each participant participates at their own risk. There will be a cooler with small water bottles available at the half way point of the 10K on Sunday. Otherwise, participants must provide their own hydration methods.

What if I want to volunteer to help but not actually complete the race?

GREAT! Please contact me at mas@plmmc.com or 540-850-3969 and we can find a way. We could use some volunteers handing out medals at the end as well as setting and retrieving the course cones.
